Deatrich Wise Sr. & Sheila Wise
The values at the foundation’s heart began at home. Deatrich Sr. and Sheila’s example of responsibility, education and care for others continues to guide the Wise family’s work.
Our foundation
A football family.
A purpose beyond the field.
The Wise family shares more than a love of football... They share a belief that the opportunities they have received should create opportunities for others.
A legacy of showing up
Family values.
Community action.
Founded by Deatrich Wise Jr., Daniel Wise and Solomon Wise, Wise Up Foundation brings the family’s values into the communities it serves. Their parents, Deatrich Wise Sr. and Sheila Wise, provide the inspiration and guidance behind that commitment.
The foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in Massachusetts in 2023. Its mission is P.U.S.H.: Provide educational resources, Unite communities, Support students and student-athletes, and Honor America’s Veterans.
That mission takes shape through six signature programs. Bridge 2 Trades introduces students to skilled careers. Football camps create space for coaching and mentorship. Community celebrations bring neighbors together, while Hot Meals for Vets honors people who have served.
