About the program
Bridge 2 Trades introduces high school students to skilled trades through hands-on learning, career exploration and mentorship. It makes another pathway visible: practical skills that can become a future profession.
The summer initiative brings students into the world of plumbing, electrical work and carpentry, combining technical exposure with professional guidance. Published program descriptions also include drone training, 3D modeling and internship opportunities.
The 2026 Boston Summer Cohort celebrated 23 graduates earning OSHA 10 and CPR/BLS certifications. Requirements, locations and applications are managed by the Bridge 2 Trades team; visit its application page for current opportunities.
